Has 2k corrected in game injuries?

Looking into purchasing 2k23 this year but I’m wondering if they fixed the in game injuries in myleague or MyGM. Last year I played every game with not one in game injury. I would love to manage my roster when injuries occur and not create an injury just to keep my season seem realistic. If they have could anyone let me know. Much appreciated.

You have to bring the durability slider way down to see them. I played an entire season and saw zero, but now that I have durability at 10 I'm getting a good realistic amount.

Playing My career I usually have funky lineups to experiment early in the season. I'll set my lineups and go into the game and Coach has me coming off the bench as a 99OVR. I guess my 3rd stringer hurt himself in practice in-between me pressing START on a game so that means I gotta come off the bench.

Fortunately there's 82 games in a season and I'm not even through my rookie year on either character. I don't mind swimming one game so I can retinker with the line ups again.

I will say to all you MyNBA and MyGM fans. The Magic have a GREAT roster to fiddle with.

Had a line up with Me 6'7 PG. F. Wagner who's 6'8. Paolo at the 3 who's 6'10 and Bol Bol and Mo Bamba who are both 7' with crazy wing spans. Only reason I put Paolo back at the 4 is because it sucks having to manually select him for the Pick and Roll. When he's the 4 I can naturally just tell him to set me a pick.

But if you could control both players Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony would be GREAT PNR players for Paolo in a MyNBA franchise. I had 37 assists in my first start on Superstar lol

And these injuries you’re seeing are actual in-game injuries right?

Correct. Now that it works and I can see them, I really like the injury animations.

I have injury frequency sliders at 90 since it seems MyNBA doesn’t have enough sim injuries at 50.

Then durability in game sliders at 5-10 (5 gets way too many injuries, 8-9 is still a lot of injuries, and 10 still sees about injury per game for me but more realistic. You’ll see lots of injuries like that.

The funny thing is: For years we have problems in our online league, that we see injuries though we have deactivated them in the options.

I do around a dozen playoff games per year in-game and I see about 1 injury per playoffs in-game. This is with slightly reduced injury settings vs the default.

It’s the durability setting. At one stage I had 6 of my dudes out.

I’ve seen injuries with straight default rosters and sliders. At one point I had 3 rotation guys out at the same time.

I also have a question with the healing.... What does influence the healing of an injury?

I had two players injured in mynba jordan era, and their recovery seems too quick.
I play 52 season games. Could it be the reason?

McHale - Bruised shoulder, listed at 1-2 weeks, in game player injury 15 days. Fully recovered after 1 week
Daugherty - Broken wrist, listed at 4-6 weeks, in game player injuy 32 days. Fully recovered after 3 weeks

I do not think the medicine rating influence things, Cavaliers had 1/2 stars rating in that parameter
Each day they are gaining 2/3 days of recovery. Even 4 days once for Daugherty.....
                              Thanks
