    Wrong Jumpshot Forms in 2K23

Community doing much better job on recreating players signature moves and jumpshot forms. Just look at Jimmy Butler and James Harden jumpshot forms, they are not identical to their real life shot.

Here how its supposed to be: (Credit to the guy who made those videos, its not me)

    Jimmy Butler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DMF5B2tva4

    James Harden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNZV4B9rKW0

    Tracy McGrady: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVZCMQnBPUc

    Vince Carter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WldXWNY9bVk

and many more on youtube who is doing those kinda videos to help community. Why 2K being lazy or not doing a good job on this? Back in 2K11 they did a amazing job but this year its not even close.

Re: 2K Being Lazy and Wrong with Jumpshot Forms

This just highlights the fact that it's time for 2k to finally separate mid range jumpers from 3 pointer forms. More than a few players have a more exaggerated lean for their middies.

Some of these shots are really off. How can random people fix this but 2k devs cant? They really don't have it in the budget to monitor and keep these things updated and accurate?

Then if you wanna use custom rosters they wont let you use them in every mode.

I wish they would bring back the numbered releases. Fixing sigs have not been fun this year.

Here is a spreadsheet that someone else has made.

          https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...t?usp=drivesdk

It has the players linked to the numbers.

I’m not super big on accusations of laziness because it often just feels like a bit of a nonstarter. I might not be great at certain parts of my job but I’m not sure I’d like folks to automatically attribute it to laziness as opposed to, say, time constraints, dueling priorities, limitations, or blind spots.

All that said, I’d always welcome more unique and accurate jumpshots. In particular, if 2K’s still leaning into Eras mode at all, it’d be fun to see some of those oddball legacy jumpers start coming to fruition.

Years ago they added Kevin Duckworth and Bill Cartwright’s unique forms and it makes utilizing those players pretty fun and unique. It’d be neat to do the same for guys like Manute Bol, Michael Adams, Jack Sikma, Vinnie Johnson, and Bill Laimbeer.

EXACTLY!!! LAZY? I thought this year is probably the best year for sig shots ever. I haven't seen anything completely terrible like in the years past.
