This is probably the main part of what they wanted to foicus on .. the SNOWMAN Builder.

Cant be mad because kids really like it and put alot of money into it

At the start, you can choose between creating your own custom MyPLAYER or, new to NBA 2K24, starting with an NBA player template. A variety of player types are among the handful of NBA players chosen for the templates feature. The player templates are customizable, but if you wish to do so you can accept the player exactly as they are and start your career.

I'm curious to see the types of player templates they have available. I do like the idea of that. It is a good way on saving time if they have the type of build available from a template. I just want to create a legit 3 & D role player wing. I'd be happy with a Draymond Green template and customizing it from there.

I like the template idea. I'm always worried about restrictions they make based on the supposedly meta builds that are out there. I don't want myplayer severely limited because of online play.

I like that as well. Actually progressing skills you use is better than getting XP for skill categories. I feel it is a quicker way to progress badges quicker. I prefer it this way. It feels more realistic. This way feels like you are perfecting your craft as opposed to building towards a specific playstyle.

That's what I want to see as well. If these Player Templates are based on real NBA players, the hope is that the template is near replica of the NBA players. I wouldn't want the Player Templates to be a "Poor Man's" version of a NBA player. That almost defeats the purpose of it.

I get competitive balance for Online, but for someone who doesn't play online, I don't want the same type of restrictions. I'm not trying to create a Wemby build or a Giannis with Curry's three ability build. I just want to create my preferred build without feeling like I have to completely neglect certain ratings

You're right, it doesn't sound good. It sounds AMAZING. It's about damn time that the defense gets a speed boost tool to combat the 375762 speed boost tools that the offense has access to. One step closer to having the defense on even footing with the offense.

Especially for AI players. Certain foul batters should be able to have similar impact if the badge works as advertised

the current gen is no longer even considered for badges. I insist, wouldn't it have been better to cut with the old consoles?
