Hey Fam,

I'm trying to find where Mike Wang talked about playing Players out of position and how it's basically a glitch for online leagues.. Does anyone know where I can find this? it's like youtube been scrubbed of it..

How does everyone feel about the AI's team defense, protecting the paint, etc.? Is it in a good place to provide challenge that's also at least halfway realistic? I'm trying to decide if I should dust the game off and give it another shot before 2K25

Just want to put on record that I've been having a blast with 2K24 for a while now. I had basically given up on the game shortly after launch on account of a flurry of bugs that affected my preferred playing modes; I abandoned the game for months as a result.

However, I'm glad to say 2K turned it around. Fixed the created arena glitches (no space on baseline names, lighting, etc), stabalized gameplay to a point where my sliders could actually create the game I wanted, and by and large left me with a game I can count on night in and night out.

Now, I'm playing through the 1994-95 season and just about everything feels right, even the existence of rim-hang dunks (which were strangely absent in 2K23). It's been a pretty awesome experience.

This may be a really dumb question, but I'm playing MyNBA for the first time in several years and am controlling all 30 teams and have them set to automatically scout the prospects. I'm near Christmas time in my season and no college players have any recorded stats yet and it doesn't appear that anyone is being scouted. Is this a glitch or does all of the scouting occur in the offseason or something?

love that they improved the rim physics for made shots. also CPU calls timeouts more dynamically now.

One of my major annoyances with my limited time with '24 was the lack of aggressiveness on the offensive boards.

I guess that's the way to improve defense by getting players back quicker.

The offensive rebounding slider doesn't help either and that's one reason I think '23 plays a little better overall.

Not sure if was in 23 and I just missed it but 24 solved my one issue I cared about.

24 I can play MyPlayer and only play season games. The number of games I played in 23 I could count on one hand because I can't stand having to go through all the city storylines.

24 I finish a game, go into the locker room and the calendar on the wall. Select my next game and then can go straight into the next game, without even having to leave the stadium.

Still the issue of leveling up the player being impossible but that's not something that bothers me, I'm getting enough enjoyment playing on lower difficulties.

I don't know if you tried MY ERAS mode on 2K24 but i did before with Kobe era but it didn't mean so much for me. But now i am on Lebron era, 2010 with Orlando Magic and i can't believe how much the game has changed !! I'm literally playing NBA 2K10 in NBA 2K24. If you haven't please give it a try, Lebron era teams perfectly reflect the era. I use the same sliders, same settings with current era and the game plays like 2010 basketball. Amazing... So much fun.
