Where is DaCzar?

Anyone here follow DzCar? He is an OG content creator who has worked for 2K for several years. He usually puts several videos on YouTube to review the new features of the game. He did one for dribbling right when 2k25 launched and nothing since.

Makes me wonder if:

-He's not a fan of how 2K25 plays and doesn't want to put out content where he might say something that gets him in trouble.
-2K is working on some changes and he doesn't want to put something out that is going to be obsolete soon.
-Or he doesn't care as much as he used to. (Or all 3!)

I'm struggling with shooting. I am a button shooter and really miss the shot meter. I can't get a feel for shooting in 2K5 with that arrow thing. I'm starting to look at the players hands when shooting, but I don't play MyPlayer. I like to play with a wide variety of teams when playing people online. I can't learn everyone's shooting style. Very frustrating and not having fun with this game.

I don't know about you, but I find the play now online mode just not fun to play at all. There is no point in playing defense when players can get buckets and/or fouls at will when driving into the paint.

I don't think DaCzar has anything good to share about this game and is absent. What's the point of running an offense when you can just score inside the paint with ease?

DaCzar's YouTube account is a personal account. Anything he shares is on his own time. Wouldn't read too much into it (other than him perhaps not having as much free time/energy).

Auto animations and putting your hands up results in fouls? What? Ridiculous

Im a keep it a bean with you. Da Czar is a human being that prolly touches grass and kicks it with his family/friends after work.. like many of us.

Our free time is spent with 2k...his job IS 2K. His job is to deal with whatever they need him to focus on in the game.

We gotta step outside sometimes and realize, people jobs 9-5 is dealing with the game. After they step away, I'm sure they need a break from anything 2k.

A lot of those that work on the game have families and hella responsibilities, picking up the sticks prolly is the last thing on their mind. Im pretty sure he been busy trying to clean up whatever they need for Season 2.

He working, he will come kick it when he ready.

I don't have this problem at all. Maybe you are just terrible at the game.

I never get it when people complain when THEY can't stop a cheesy tactic, I'm not even that good at the game and I don't have this problem online AT ALL.

Just as there is a thread where a dude is talking about playing on PRO and getting blown by by the computer. The CPU is not hard AT ALL to defend on PRO.

It's undeniable the interior defense in this game is flawed to the point of being broken. Let's not even get into the egregious warping and clipping that ruins defensive play.

I will say that over the last few days I've picked the game back up, and it seems like they've made some tweaks to the play now online gameplay. They must be tuning behind the scenes.

I was just pointing out that I believe every other year, DaCzar has released 3-6 videos around the launch of the new NBA 2k game. Except for this year.

Life prolly lifing.. the older you get, more responsibilities happen you know.

He prolly gotta focus more outside of work when he can, and YT takes a bit of time. Prolly got that call from family like "Aye big dawg, disconnect." A family member could be sick and he could be taking care of them after work.

Either way, we wont know but we can assume that he still doing the best he can to support the 2k team when he clocks in. We just gotta be thankful anytime he pops in really.

If you look at his timeline he talks about that more
And that's been the theme for 2k unfortunately
Offline is on life support until they separate the two🤷

I really appreciated Da_Czar's work, but I can't help but notice that since he took over the tactics in 2021, after the departure of other employees, the game has gotten worse in this area. We can't deny that the AI defense has improved a lot, but for the past four years, the offensive and defensive tactic menus have been dysfunctional to the point where, this year, we can't even change certain defensive settings with OTFC (it's outrageous if this issue persists all year!). Even the offensive movements of AI-controlled teams have been disappointing since the introduction of the freelance "motion." Before, the AI's attacks had a bit more personality, but that's no longer the case today.

I actually found an article that announced this change in the team. Since these changes, the tactics' interface has been really bad, whereas before, it was much better.
