    Playing with passing big men

Specifically Jokic and Sabonis.. I’m lost. Doesn’t feel natural like in the nba. It’s always a task to get them to distributed the ball properly.. any tips??

If hand offs had improved substantially in the past decade, this would be a lot more enjoyable.

The main thing is choosing the right plays. If you play a mode where you can edit the playbooks, this makes it much easier. Choose lots of pistol and handoff plays. Also some of the high post plays have some off ball cutting.

21 delay is probably the best freelance for this.

Only just back playing 2k again but I think I had some success inflating assists by ensuring I was running semi-transition with Jokic at every opportunity and running some 4 and 5 pick and roll.

Playing Scrimmage last night and on 2k24 (ps4) you can bring up individual plays for players and instead of calling specific play you can ask them to receive an offball screen. I was able to do this as I was posting up with AD and Cam Reddish came off a a double screen for a wide open look. Running those mini plays with Jokic handling and guys coming off of offball should make it rain.

Exactly.. I try handoffs and cuts, but they don’t seem to work properly. The cutter never really cut, and the handoff is weird too.. I know this is a video game, but assists for a passing big, isn’t natural.. it’s almost like I have to force it.

Force?.... No way. It's like the easiest thing. I'm surprised more people don't use DHO.

I think 21 delay is great if you have a PF that not a big. Personally I've been using flow for teams like the Kings. I don't want Webber or Vlad hanging around the 3 point line all the time.

I endorse the playbook upgrade. There are a few people with spreadsheets out there to fix them up.

CPU Jokic went from 1 shoot in 10 minutes to 4 shots, 3 assist and a few potential assists. I also changed every besides Murray and Westbrook to have handoff as play priority 1.
