Yeah they didn’t release a patch yet. Madden, CFB and EA FC all have the ps5 pro enhanced label in the store but not NBA 2k yet.

I think they all have a label, but no patches for the sports games yet which is a disappointment, that’s the main reason I got it day one lol

2K has the label now too but no patch, did the other sports games get one?? I know a lot of non sports games got a patch today earlier. I am really interested to see where these sports games will improve on, slightly better frame rates or better lighting? etc. I dont expect much

The other sports games got way better lighting, frame rate, better looking textures, color. The UFC game now is in 4K. I played about a dozen games and every sports game with the PS5 Pro. The games that have the official support, look way better. Those without the official support, their frame rates are way better.

NBA2K25 looks and plays better on PS5 Pro. Not worth $700 but if you do spend the money like I did you will be happy with the results. All the games I have tried so far look better and play smoother.

I went back and forth comparing the PS5 Pro version with base PS5 and the Pro version definitely looks slightly crispier with smoother framerate. Not a huge difference but definitely noticeable. All the sports games seem to have been quietly patched without mention before the Pro even released.

Slightly better for $700 is wild, if the feedback on it was overwhelming I was considering it but everything I’m reading is that the improvement is marginal at best

Some of you have to understand that non of these sports games were designed for the pro. And some people have some unrealistic expectations. It’s $200 more than the base console. Did you honestly expect 4090 levels of performance? For me so far it’s a nice jump and noticeable improvement, but I also have a gaming PC and I know what to expect. For a console this is more than enough and worth it for me.

I will say this, if you are judging from YouTube videos or some other internet videos, you probably won’t notice anything major. In person it’s a totally different experience visually and performance. YouTube almost cost me a purchase. I’m just glad I went with my instinct.

Thumbs down to the PS5 pro. I didn’t see a difference on 2k25. Played the regular ps5 then the pro. No difference at all to me. Taking mine back today.

Other people must have a keener eye then I have.

I would buy one if someone trustworthy would confirm it would be an improvement from my Series X, I’m yet to see that so far though

I wish it was better. But I honestly can’t tell the difference.
