I noticed whether I have staff abilities on or off, players get a tribute boosts in mynba regardless (such as one or two points for pass IQ, rebounding, etc.). So what does it exactly do?
Does MyNBA play better or worse with staff abilities on? What does it do?

Does MyNBA play better or worse with staff abilities on? What does it do?
I tried to put this question in my other thread by editing it, but it appears the title didn’t change, so I’m gonna ask it again with the proper title in case someone catches it and can answer the question.

I’m going through the process now, but in settings there are a bunch of settings that impact this. Try turning off chemistry as well as that impacts player boosts when your team chemistry goes up.
Adding more info here:
The staff abilities all do different things. There’s a whole guide to explain it in game, but some will help contract negotiations, extension talks, coach boosts in the 4th quarter, healing (although I believe this is broken since all injuries heal too quickly), reduced player morale, and things like that. I’d recommend going into MyNBA and going to the MyStaff screen and then going through the Badge Glossary.
I personally play with staff abilities/badges off, but as mentioned in my previous comments there are other things that impact player attribute boosts too. The badges are just one of the few features that give attribute boosts. -

Posting this here again since I did in the other thread:

I wonder if play now has coach badges activated.Comment

Yes all coaches and staff are without badges. Play now doesn’t have any badges activated, which is why people say the game plays slightly different in both modes.Comment
