[quote=SmooveBeast;2046412775]1. I'm assuming you have one equipped

2. You have to be in the right position for specific dunks

Yes I do and I have tried every angle on a fast break with just those dunks equipped and he just does layups. On xbox 360 I didn't have any issues at all. It is really disappointing having upgraded systems and not having the luxury of all the animations (player customization as well).

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

I'm posting here about MyCareer on PS3, but its pertaining an opinion on my free agency and since this gets way more traffic I thought I'd ask here too.

I've just won my first NBA title with the Mavericks as a Center winning 69 games in the regular season. LeBron joined year 2, so our core was Ellis-LeBron-Dirk-Me. Well Dirk has retired with 2 chips and I've hit FA. The first roster I wanted to check in Negotiations was of course my Mavs.. well it turns out we acquired my rival (lol kinda considered him to be) DWIGHT HOWARD. Kinda made me mad considering he plays C so now I'm stuck in a limbo. Having a core of Lebron-Dwight-Me-Monta would probably break the NBA, but I would have to move to the PF spot and of course my numbers probably wouldn't improve too much.

So.. out of these lineups that appeal the most to me, which do you guys like or who would you choose?

In no order -

Mavs (best defense ever? We were already #1 last season):
PG: Shane Larkin 75 (our previous 6th man who I wanted to start)
SG: Ellis 82
SF: LeBron 99
PF: Marshall (me) 92
C: Dwight 95
Key reserves: C Mozgov 74, C/PF Varejao 74 SG Ledo 73

Nuggets (that depth..):
PG: Ty Lawson 86
SG: Shumpert 84
SF: Wilson Chandler 81
PF: Faried 84
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key reserves: PF Amir Johnson 78, SG Stuckey 76, SG Jeremy Lamb 75, C O'Quinn 75, PG Joseph 74

Thunder: (would I ever get the ball? :3 but WOW)
PG: Darren Collison 80
SG: Westbrook 92
SF: Durant 95
PF: Ibaka 88
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key reserves: C Steven Adams 80, PF Dejuan Blair 77, SG MarShon Brooks 73

Warriors: (post up kickouts all game long!!)
PG: Curry 87
SG: Klay 80
SF: Iggy 86
PF: Lee 80
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key Reserves: C Bogut 80, SF Marion 74, PF Bargnani 73

Lakers (my team.. such appeal no matter the roster)
PG: Kendall Marshall 75
SG: Kobe 84
SF: Tobias Harris 80
PF: Jared Sullinger 77
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key reserves: C Koufos 78, PF Ed Davis 78, SF Xavier Henry 7

Bulls (they were dominant last season, won about 60 games, but kinda a log jam):
PG: Rose 92
SG: Kevin Martin 70 (or Butler)
SF: Butler 79 (Or Thad Young)
PF: Thad Young 80 (or Zach Randolph 79)
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key reserves: Zach Randolph?, Kevin Martin?, PF Taj Gibson 76, PG Chalmers 75

Bobcats (same situation as Mavs, but not as much appeal)
PG: Kemba 83
SG: Kidd-Gilchrist 81
SF: Melo 92
PF: Marshall 92 (me)
C: Big Al 88
Key reserves: C Seraphin 74, PF McRoberts 74

Clippers: (Lakers fan so some dislike here, but would be SO stacked. Although Jordan to the bench would be a waste of talent)
PG: CP3 98
SG: Avery Bradley 82
SF: Danny Granger 79
PF: Blake 90
C: Marshall 92 (me)
Key Reserves: C Deandre Jordan 85, PF Big Baby

Where should I take my talents too?

The bold part about the HOF CPU never missing in MyCareer is not actually true. It CAN be true that the CPU hits everything of course so that's what might make my saying that it's not the case hard to believe.

Keep practicing and working on it because you definitely can reduce the HOF CPU's fg%.

No, you're wrong. There are definitely stretches where the cpu does not miss regardless of how well you pay defense. I've had hands in faces, people fading out of bounds, making shots behind the back board. It's ridiculous.

Stretches of time not missing is different than "never" missing. Sure, what you mention can happen.
