From what I understand he will be your rival rookie that your career will be compared to. Think Melo and LeBron when they got drafted or Wiggins and Parker this year. Everything you do will be compared to each other and he will talk trash to you in "jive" talk to you.

Your responses will have either a positive or negative effect on you, your team, your league perception etc.

Basically he is another cheesy cutscene that will never leave you alone.
