Hopefully eventually this will be remedied, because as of now my next gen copy of 2K is gathering dust.

I'm guessing that they won't be patching in the ability for couch co-op in myGM mode. I only say this because other concerns like Coach Hiring bug, player morale (roles) have been addressed and we've been told they have been fixed for the upcoming 3rd patch, but no word on couch co-op leads me to believe it wont be fixed. I hope that I'm proven wrong because couch co-op is how I play sports games, with friends all on the same team going through our careers...

Man to hell with VC. Don't take out tenured staples of the game(cpu vs cpu and couch co-op) just because of some gimmick.

VC and and XP are the worst gimmicks to ever happen to video sports gaming.
