For those with online questions...

I posted this in another thread, but as I've searched for answers myself, some solutions/answers are spread among different posts... so I'm making this tread to consolidate information.

1) For those that try to log into NBA2k14 and get the message that the 2k sports servers are down, but you can play other online games fine:

There seems to be a sync error with PSN gamertags and the 2k servers (mostly with people that are trying to use their PSN accounts from CG units). Kiing360 pointed out that if you create a new PSN, it will sync up and you'll have online functionality. I tried his method, and it worked.

2) Clarification on menus and online functionality/VC:

In the menu screen, if you see "Quick Game" as your first option instead of "NBA Today," and you do not see a MyTeam option, you are NOT connected to the 2k servers! All VC accumulated in MyGM and MyPlayer while not connected will not transfer to "online VC..." which technically should transfer over all game modes.

3) At the current time, 12:31 PM EST, the 2k servers seem to be down...at least for me. I was connected, and in MyPlayer mode going through menus, when all of a sudden, I was booted back to the start screen. I tried logging in again, but cannot connect to the servers. (When I try going back into the online MyPlayer save, it says that I have to be connected to 2k for it.)
