Bank shots???

What is triggering them? I see them a lot in spots that don't make much sense. I don't know if they are random like last year or I'm hitting something to trigger it. Anyone know?

I posted a thread about this last night but no one replied. So far I've only been playing MyCareer, but the majority of the time my player shoots from inside the arch, he tries to bank it for no reason. I went to practice mode with Lebron and noticed the same thing. It's weird and not properly contextual and needs to be patched out.

holding the shot stick towards the Basket when shooting will trigger a bank shot, if I remember Mike correctly. You manually trigger them again this year.

Are you sure because ever since CHoops2k8 I have always pulled back (away from the basket) for a jumper and towards the basket for dunks and layups. It wasn't in the tutorial either.

This has to be patched. I got Rudy Gay shooting bank shots from behind the arc. Patch please.

Wow how about you guys play training camp mode and learn the new moves before jumping into games . Pushing shot stick towards rim triggers bank shots.
