Custom rosters in an online league (next gen)

So I heard this is in this year from JWill. I have wanted this in for years and this is AWESOME! I haven't heard or seen anything on here about this yet. Has anyone tried this out and can you tell me any of the options with editing once in a league? I have heard commissioner options are not in this year? What can be done from a commissioner standpoint? Can you adjust sliders? Flex schedule? Reset games? Pick winner and loser of a D/C game?

But as far as adding custom rosters to online leagues this deserves a

From what I've seen, there are no options editable once inside an online league.

From the outside of the league, during creation, you can choose from how many teams (all USERS no CPU so ALA 2K11), number of games, whether or not to include playoffs and if so how many teams can make it.

An option for using a custom roster is available.

Other than that info right there, that is it.

the developers have stated numerous times that this game was not a port and was built from the ground up. Meaning alot of the features we were acustomed to on the current gen system will not be included because they simply haven't had the time to program the game and add all the small options we take for granted.

And your point is that, for the devs it was impossible to give us the choice to adjust quarter length, level of difficulty and sliders? Come on mate, what you are implying is...

Really? So, I would have no ability to change my online league to 12 minutes? I have to play 6? WOW! I only play 12.

At the moment, what have been shown is that default quarter length is 6 minutes - I havent played myself cause I'm from Europe -. I will confirm it to you this friday when xbox1 is launched. I only play 12 too, so this is a big problem.

I've tested 2 leagues so far. Here's the rundown:

-Commish cant set difficulty or sliders
-Commish cannot set qtr length
-Commish cannot boot members from the league
-The commish CAN simulate and reset any game(but can't pick winner when simualting. You have to sim it and reset it until the desired outcome is achieved)
-Custom rosters feature is there but currently it does not work. I tested it in 2 different leagues. This is something that 2K should be able to fix though.

And that's it. Nothing else can be done in the league by the commish. Not sure if you can approve or deny trades...havent test that part. If they just add the ability to boot users, change difficulty and qtr lengths then I will be CONTENT.

have you tried to create the league changing the quarter length in your default options? pf, 2k, why!!!!

That sucks man! My favorite mode (online league) unplayable because I only play 12 minute quarters anyway. How was it on CG? Its crazy this area hasn't seen any improvement really since 2k11. I still think its awesome to have the ability to have custom rosters in OA! Im sure this will get fixed at some point. Finally we can play with real shoes, accessories, dribble edits, shot sig edits, etc!!!

I am truly surprised more people are not ecstatic with this...

Current gen OA is solid. Lots of features. But idk if the league works after season 3. I am glad to see custom rosters in next gen leagues but I need it to work before I get excited. Playing with legends would be fun. The new livestreaming feature on next gen consoles is HUGE for lgs.......that's why I want 2k to fix this so bad. We finally have spectator mode.

If you had an Admin who was totally into it you could have a makeshift association with the custom rosters. At season's end he duplicates the rosters offline, progresses and regresses players and creates players to be rookies which he assigns to people based upon an offline draft.

Or it would be cool to do a 1996-97 league or something.

Anyway, if we can get booting, quarter change (I like 8 for leagues) and difficulty (I like hall of fame) that will be fine just for this year.
