Playing Time NBA 2K14
So I've been going through each team roster and correctly giving each guy his appropriate playing time as of how many games each team has played. Each team is given 240 minutes to use via the game and in real life according to NBA.com. My issue is that one cannot honestly give each player his correct playing time. Here is an example
Atlanta Hawks
C: A. Horford 32.4 minutes
PF: P. Milsap 31.2
SF: D.Carroll 31.0
SG: K. Korver 33.9
PG: J. Teague 33.7
If you round up you'll get 162 minutes from the starting five. 78 minutes are left-over for the bench.
Even If you don't round up, I'm still at 264.
6. PF: M. Scott 14.9
7. SF: C. Martin 20.3
8. PF: G. Ayon 19.0
9. SG: L. Williams 15.5
10. PG: S. Mack 14.0
11. C: P. Antic 13.6
12. PG: D. Schroder 13.4
13. PF: E. Brand 10.3
14. SG: J. Jenkins 12.0
15. SG: J. Cunningham 4.0
Cut the final three guys off to IR and the left over guys equal 107 after rounding up.
So If starting 5 guys get 162 minutes and the bench gets 107 minutes that equals 269. Does anyone know how to properly address this or am I tripping at some point.
