Is there an issue with 2 players?

I have the Xbone version and when I try to play a two player game with someone the second controller icon at team select disappears or doesn't show up period. I have both controllers on. Both controllers work fine with Madden. I have tried turning the controllers on and off, plugged them into the One....nothing. Tried restarting One. Nothing works.

I thought maybe you had to have two profiles logged in, but my nephew logged in with his and the P2 icon showed up for a bout 5 seconds then disappeared.

I'm having the same issue. I have the Xbox One version and when I turn on a second controller to try to add a second player, I don't get a Player 2 icon at all. Both controllers control the "P1" button with the most recent controller added taking over primary function control of the entire game.

Same issue here as well, I tried the second profile thing as well. It would show up for a second then disappear. The only difference is that it would allow me to go as far as selecting the teams and then I'd get the internet connection error. When I tried again the controller would be gone.

Have you created a new user or guest account? The second controller needs to be tied to that profile in order for it to work. For example, you have controller 1 tied to your profile and the P2 would be tied to say your son or daughters account, if you want to play against each other in the same room.

Bad system if you ask me.

Figured out how to play two player, made my kid's account then it went out in the middle of the game.

Yes it's a silly system but you have to sign in a guest from the xbox settings screen

Based on my experience, there is a problem with 2 players. The game would only let me and my brother play (both using different profiles on the Xbox One) an Exhibition game. When we tried to play 2 player in MY GM MODE, it would only recognize one controller. If we backed out, it would recognize 2 controllers, if we chose exhibition.

Unfortunately, for some reason they removed 2-player support from MyGM in a day-one patch.
