So I'm planning to get this game on Friday (when the PS4 releases). I'm only looking to dedicate the majority of my time for just the one mode so just wanted to get some feedback as to which mode is the better & more stable (minimal bugs, etc).

I played MyCareer on the PS3 however I got bored of it after the first five games (I personally didn't see much difference from 2K13). I was originally planning to play GM mode on next-gen but after reading so many backlash on it, such as unable to shorten season length, A.I trade logic, player morale/role issues, and the fact that you need VC to perform basic things in the mode, it has kind of put me off from this mode and am now considering playing MyCareer instead.

What do the rest of you think?

MyCareer is pretty corny, but the player role issue makes MyGM unplayable. Not to mention you can't edit rosters within the mode.

Playing both but i would learn towards MyCareer when it actually works

MyCareer is way too broken ATM. MyGM is too, but much less than MyCareer.

Don't play either one of those modes.

Ima be straight up with you...

Until 2K15 is released, just stick to "Quick Games" and bask in all the new 'eco-moves', player tattoos & richly-detailed facial expressions.

If you DO take a chance and decide to play one of those modes...

Keep your expectations low, bro.
Very low.

Having any 'high hopes' for MyGM or MyCareer will only set yourself up for future disappointment & anger.

(especially if those 'hopes' are based on any previous CG gameplay you may have enjoyed playing on any version of NBA 2K in the past.)

Keep it simple.

Just play 'Quick Games' or 'Online' match-ups only. Nothing more.

And be grateful about it.

Im only saying myCareer because I havent touched the myGM because of some reviews and bugs/glitches. I'll wait for the patch and the review of the OS'ers and if it resolve the issues in myGM, then i'll switch.

In theory MyGM by far, but it's unplayable atm until the issues get resolved. Although I'm not playing MyCareer either.
