Try lead passing towards the paint on the break to avoid the sometimes weird AI tendencies at times.

First, go to the PS Home using the Home button, find the NBA 2k14 icon, push the options button on the controller. It'll have a "delete" option. Delete it. Then, go to the Playstation settings and disable your internet for a moment.

You'll probably have to eject the disc, and reinsert it, which will bring up the NBA 2k14 icon again. Install. Play!

Also, something is fishy going on. When I'm playing quick games, everything is fine, great. But when I start a MyGM file, some cheesy stuff starts right up again. Playing through this game to see if it's a rare occurrence or ongoing theme.

And... More cheese/cheating.

Rebounding Issue:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...26206699005911

McLemore CLEARLY had the ball in his hands. 4 Sacramento Kings right there, yet somehow the Manimal comes away with the rebound, OUT OF McLemore's hands.

On this one, I was set to Play Conservative on Defense, also to No Shots Inside. For whatever reason, Cousins is bodying McGee up near the 3 pt line, the game moves Cousins out of the way, run the other way as McGee goes to the hoop for the alley oop. The game then decides to collapse all defense (good move), only to have one of my defenders run out towards the 3 pt line when the alleyoop is in the air.

This is the type of stuff that's ridiculous to me.

The Nuggets are on one of their "runs" where you know that the game is going to make them score. Andre Miller catches the ball in the circle, goes up, gets rejected by Thompson AS SOON AS THE BALL Leaves his hands.... Goal tending. Apparently if they're destined to score... they're just destined to score.

The manchild, JJ Hickson.

The problem with this is I guess that we won't be able to play with any other roster than the day 1, right?

The alley oops and offensive rebounding are out of control, my two biggest issues with the game right now.

When the CPU wants an alley oop, it doesn't matter if there's a player in front of the receiving party, they'll slide out of the way and just get dunked on every single time.

In reality, there's no way in hell guys should just get bodied out of the way like that, or JUST STAND THERE and allow the alley oop pass right in front of there face.

This goes back to the CPU always wanting to get into the paint no matter what, and mostly getting it due to laser accurate zip passes, no matter what type of defense, or how many defenders are playing the correct position. It's filthy.

The rebounding speaks for itself, nothing else needs to be said. If these issues were resolved, we would solve a lot of the points in the paint issues as well.

I feel like cheating is the only way the CPU can realistically beat you or even keep the game close. Without these blatant cheats, every game would be a blowout in the human favor.

I was certain that with a new console, with better processing power and performance we would finally see AI that didn't need to cheat just to stay in it, I was very wrong.

I think this is a reasonable question.

If a CPU cheat code or comeback AI is programmed, surely there wouldn't be blowouts.

Does anyone care post some final scores?

Iv'e had a ton of blowouts, usually against weaker teams, blowouts aren't the problem at all, it's the way the CPU cheeses to get their points.
