NBA Today gave us Daily Zap videos showing games around the league. Over the weekend, they've been changed to short play of the day videos instead.

What happened to our Daily Zap?

Was it changed because of bandwidth issues or because people were too impatient to watch the Zap? If so, bleh.

The play of the day was nice. I would have liked that along with assist and dunk of the day worked into the rotation with daily zap.

My guess…. it was a 4-day Holiday Weekend.

So the regular staff who usually "chop & screw" the daily clips were probably not in the office.

If the clips are not back to normal by later today, or tomorrow… then I agree.

Makes sense, for a bit there I thought the Daily Zap was pulled directly from NBA TV and not made/spliced together by 2K.

Daily Zap isn't made by 2K. It's just one of the streams prepared by the NBA and available on NBA.com everyday.

It should be available from the same link without any updating on 2K's side.

Correct. And the NBA has a 'skeleton' staff working during certain holidays, like Thanksgiving. Just sayin.
