Exactly. Agreed.

Christmas is the BIGGEST shopping season of the year.

If they respond before Christmas (and say the wrong thing) they could potentially damage the total number of sales this year.

My guess, 2K will let everyone stay excited, keep the 'hype machine' going to sell as many copies they can... then address any flaws or glitches (or announce plans for next year) during the early part of January 2014.

In the meantime, they will continue to drop patches to fix whatever they can.

Issuing a comment/apology is akin to weakness and failure so I don't expect them to do either.

Unfortunately, they have been weak and they have failed (so far) for this iteration of 2K basketball. But they obviously won't spin it as that.

So they'll release patches (some with notes, some without), fix what they can without making a scene out of the process and try to get by with as little PR damage as possible.

Just my 2 cents on the matter. I may be completely wrong but from an organizational standpoint, this seems pretty "par for the course" in terms of disastrous game rollouts like 2K has on their hands right now.

Let's not even talk about the constant MyGM and MyCareer crashes. And the damn error code that seems to be affecting half of the xbox one users that sends them back to their startup screens before they're even able to finish a game.

Yeah, there's no issues or game killing problems at all.
