.....as it pertains to gameplay and MY GM. First off with the right sliders this game plays like a gem. Perfect? No, and that's because perfect is not possible. Fun? He'll yeah! And if you feel that it's not your duty to have to fix sliders to get a good game then you are entitled to that opinion. However, the question is: is it worth sitting back complaining when you've already spent your money when you could be playing the game? I know some sliders won't save but it's possible to get good results without messing with tendencies as I've done so. But what works for me may not work for you. The point is I tried something until what I'm satisfied with, with what I was presented with and I'm enjoying it. It's like the cup that has water in it. Is it half empty or half full? Sometimes you gotta be optimistic.
Next, the trade logic. I just simmed 4 seasons and did not see anything as bad as I have been reading on different websites about this issue. Some people come up in the rumor mill but they never got traded. On the flip side I seen more realistic trades and offers than anything as well as free agent moves. I seen Bosh go to NY and Melo go to Orlando. Now don't give me that Melo wouldn't have gone to Orlando crap cause no one though Lebron would go to Miami and Dwight left LA for Hou. In the 3rd season after Kobe left LA Lebron signed with the Lakers to be the next Showtime star. Sometime players do what's right for them and not what we expect. I actually like the fact that there are curve balls thrown to bring more excitement. Who wants their MY GM to go exactly like the league is now? If that's the case then it's not realistic that you would ever be a GM now is it? Or what about those who make MY Players ands have their rookies avg like 30ppg 10ast 5 steals 5 reb. I guess that's real too huh? Also, I read that players don't come back from injuries. We'll, in the 4 yrs I simmed they did. Also, I read that you can't extend contracts. We'll I did.
The bottom line is just try to enjoy what you have and not waste time over things that can be overlooked. And this thread is not in regards to broken stuff that make the game unplayable. I'm only talking MY GM and trade logic. I don't really get off into the other stuff too much.
