Unfortunately if you are like me and you used real FG%, then this trick will not work

You'd think the developers would have released a quick patch for this glitch as well as many other quick-fix patches but instead we all have to suffer and wait the gruelling 1-2 month 'big' patch.

I myself am most likely done with MyCareer in 2K14 as I was originally planning to play it for a couple of months, but the fact that my file was virtually stuck for almost a month is just pathetic. Nonetheless, I will be playing MyGM (simulating all games and just playing the role of a GM) as well as a couple of quick games.

You can't. Hope the patch fixes it, that's what I'm waiting on.

So real % setting makes this unplayable? And one can assume you can't change it in the middle of your career?

You can change it mid-career, just not mid cutscene/story.

As soon as I read of this glitch I switched to User Timing and I've just passed the cutscene and shootaround. It's nonsense this happens 25 or so games into My Career. I'm now a bit afraid of turning back to Real FG%. I think I'll stick with User Timing for My Career.
