I agree.
Have you written this in the bug and the patch request threads? A thread like this doesn't give 2K enough details to patch it.

Omg is it bad, another issues that 2k needs to address ASAP. I think sometimes it comes from the lag in response from controller to player. It does need to be addressed tho.

It isn't just player controlled goaltending. The CPU goaltends a ridiculous amount too.

It's the delayed button press when you jump that causes this.....even when you time it correctly it ends up being called a goaltending....

Hopefully its addressed with the patch because I don't see this happening on the current gen.

I always turned it off on last gen, but unfortunately they took the ability to turn rules off in this game…yet another 2K inexplicably removed...
