Call double team PS4

Hi, can someone please explain how to call for a double team PS4? Not working with L1 for me in quick match or myteam, even "manual" says so.

Try holding circle button on PS4. (I think it works the same way as calling for a screen, on offense.)

Nah, circle button is for flopping.
How in the world nobody knows how to do that? Its also not broken since i saw a lot of people double teamin online

Double team is L1 on defense.. I believe you hold it for CPU selected Double team, or tap it and them hold the icon of the player you want to help off of their man..

I don't double often but when I do, I usually press L1 then the corresponding player that I want to come and help. Pg is x, sg is o, sf is square, pf is triangle and center is r2. I've only do it when playing my career so I haven't tested it on quick play. I don't think the icons comes up but it's still registering. Just make sure you aren't pressing the button for the person you are controlling. Example if you are playing point guard dont press x after pressing L1. I'm at work so I cant test it but its worth a shot.

It is L1 but at times it is delayed or ignored.

Make sure you are in good position to do it and not too far away then hold L1.

Are you talkin about myteam or quick games? Cause obviously i'm not in a position too far away when to call, thats the reason i call for it and not run there by myself!
i dont think its L1, tried several times

Quick game, it happens but a lot of the time it's delay or don't happen.

Go to practice, scrimmage and try it a few times.
