season mode??

Hi guys! Sorry but i don't understand.... can i play a "normal" season mode like nba2k13? without mygm and other optional way? I want to take one team and play all season without general manager! only play! Another question: where i can download rosters and patch? Not see 2kshare! Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian.... i read that is impossible to save a sliders.... is true?? Oh my.... i wnat to play only a season without problem!! thank's for answer me!!! Have a nice xstmas to all!!! i have a ps4

Go into MyGM and before you start it, hit R1 which will turn it to season mode. At the bottom of the main options screen for season mode should say custom rosters, select yes. It will take you to the rosters screen that you can pick whichever roster you want.

However, it's really just GM mode without answering to the owner. You can only control one team and play only its games, which really sucks!

Yeah, but only with your one team. So, there's nothing to stop the rest of the league from making ridiculous trades.

When I go into mygm/season mode and at the bottom i click yes to custom roster well It wont let me select my own roster after that..I click yes for custom roster then it just takes me to select a team not my roster save..altho this is my first time booting up the game since the patch was released (which there was no option to download it) and it said couldnt connect to psn its busy so i think thats why right now im not connected to 2k sports and the rosters wont show up..who knows.

You cannot play a FULL 'season' unless you are connected to the 2K servers.
And the servers have been all screwed up for 2 days now.

Both the PSN network. And the 2K servers. At the same time.

This is another example of why it was a terrible idea for 2K to make it MANDATORY to be connected to the servers.

You only get 1/2 of the content if the servers are down.
So you cannot play a full season offline.

Just quick games.

EPIC FAIL.

And the worst part is that they never mentioned ANY of this UPFRONT.

Between all the interviews, gaming conventions & news stories leading up to the release of the game.

NOT ONE WORD.

When they KNEW about these issues beforehand.

And the servers have been all screwed up for 2 days now.

Both the PSN network. And the 2K servers. At the same time.

You can play season/myGM offline if you start the mode off line, which of course means you have to use custom rosters as we dont have the ability to download to our hard drive.

So just one season that sucks. Ive been looking for just the regular association mode but can't seem to find it. So I'm forced to play myGM mode in order to run a franchise? Cause if so that blows and I'll just trade this in for something else. I should have come on here and done some homework before buying this last night. I just figured 2k13 was so good 2k14 on ps4 should be great. Back to FIFA and BF4 I guess.
