How the hell do you play MyGM with the updated roster?

To update rosters you go to quick game and hit triangle to update, but it doesn't save them and whenever i exit out of quick game i have to download them again. How do you save the updated rosters so you don't have to keep downloading them. I would like to try to play MyGM with the lakers and kobe and nash shouldn't be playing yet.

When you start your MYGM at the bottom choose yes where it says custom rosters

Yeah i try that and i download the updated roster and then as soon as i go to play and i look at the roster its the default roster with nash and kobe playing.

Oh I see. You want to play with pre-existing injuries. There isn't an option for that.

Really? That doesn't make much sense, i can play a quick game like that without nash and kobe. Don't see why i can't do the same thing with mygm.

No option for that right now. That was one of the better parts of Association mode in current gen where you could start from "today," but that would alter MyGM quite a bit seeing as you get goals from the owner at the beginning of the year.

Are you kidding me? So i cant play with an updated roster in mygm? Great, ANOTHER disapointment for next hen 2k14. Who had the stupid idea that you shouldn't be able to play mygm with an updated roster and why? I seriously don't understand the logic behind being able to use updated rosters for quick games but not mygm. Ridiculous.

You have never been able to do what you are describing. Even if you start from today in current gen the injuries will be reset and Nash and Kobe would be playing.
