It keeps trying to force me to make a new MyPLAYER, HELP ME!

I tried to buy something in MyGM and it kicked me out of it and it's trying to get me to make a new MyPLAYER now, I have a MyCAREER that's at the All-Star break and a MyGM that's been made already...

What should I do?

Just happened to me also. Now every time I boot up the game, it wants me to make a new player. Won't even let me go to the main menu

Is it an issue with having to be connected to the servers?

I don't know if I made a mistake or not, but I actually hit continue on the MyPLAYER screen and it only lets me play offline stuff and keeps having a message "Trying to connect to internet servers"

Happened to me yesterday, turns out it had something to do with 2k servers or PSN or something. When it connected correctly it went back to normal.

Some people are having problems with the severs nothing on your end

I did the same, and am getting the same message

My way to deal with this issue was to just quit the game if the MyPlayer creation screen showed up. If you start the game and establish connection with the 2K servers the screen won't show up and you're good to go.

From what I hear either way once you get connected to the servers again the problem will go away, but I can't verify that since I never created a new MyPlayer.
