Help with VC

So i started a new MyCareer with a PG so i can play online with some of my friends. Not to worried about the actual my career mode with this character, just want to play online, so i purchased some VC IN MyCareer. 35k to be exact. Made the purchase, it was sucessful but it wont let me use it IN mycareer, only from the main menu. What is the point of this? I want to use it on his attributes, so now do i have to start ANOTHER new MyCareer and hope it carries over to that one?

Is there an area to edit attributes outside of the MyCareer mode? The only thing i can find to edit MyPlayer outside of the mode is his outfit.

This game is getting beyond frustrated.

There is a lot of funny business going on with the servers right now and 2K in general, right now. I hope you haven't lost your money.

My only guess is that you've started an offline MyCareer inadvertently, which uses skill points not VC. Start another mode, like my Gm and see if your VC is available. If it is, you can start an online MyCareer when everything calms down.

If you still cannot use your VC, I suggest the following:

1. Put in a support ticket for a refund.
2. Refrain from VC transactions (involving you actually spending money) until there is official word and less overall online complaints regarding this game.

Honestly, if you purchased something and you didn't receive it, you should file a claim with your bank/PayPal. It may take a while, but you would get your money back.

If its showing up outside of MyCareer, just start a new game file, and you will be able to use the VC you bought. I did the same as you and built a 6'9" SF, and bought 80K just for the park...havent even played the first MC game with him.

I was hoping that wasnt the case, but if it is, oh well. It would be nice if they would allow us to skip all the cut scenes. Good lord it takes forever to start up a myplayer.
Ill try it tonight and see if it carries over.

Have you started playing with your character yet? Just start a new one otherwise and you'll have the VC you purchased.

Yes, I started the MyCareer mode, played through the rookie showcase, got drafted and then purchased the VC. The only VC that showed up in mode was the VC i had earned. The VC i purchased only shows up at the main menu of the game.
