Will this fix my problem?
So far, the problems with my game is that my MyCareer is glitched and it backs out to the xbox home when I load up the save. Also, when I try to create a new one or a new MyGM, it kicks me out to the 2k main menu. If I delete all my current mycareer and mygm saves, will this fix my problem?Tags: None -

Here is the fix I just did it myself.
1. Start up NBA 2K14 not signed into a profile, let the intro play out and then sign in when prompted.
2. Go to my player screen in features, unequip everything you have on(I'm not sure if this step is necessary but it's what I did.) change your players name and features.
3. Go to the mycareer files and load yours up. It should still say that your rating is lower than it's supposed to be before you click it but once you get in everything is back to normal.
Try it out.

Do a factory reset in your Xbox.So far, the problems with my game is that my MyCareer is glitched and it backs out to the xbox home when I load up the save. Do the initial setup
Reinstall 2K (and whatever other games you have)
Boot 2K and when it prompts you to synch with the server, cancel it
Then each time you boot 2K, ALWAYS cancel the sync
I did this about a month ago when my saves got corrupted. Deleting the saves didn't help any because they would always reappear and I couldn't create any new ones. Maybe this will work for you.Comment

I'm hearing rumors where 2k won't reinstall and it gets stuck, is that true? Also, I have to cancel the sink everytime? Because that will get annoying. And will I keep my VC, I've saved up 80k. Sorry for all the questions.Do a factory reset in your Xbox.

It's been a month since I did this, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't reinstall it. Just make sure you click the box that says install disc.
Canceling the sync takes literally a second each time I boot up. For me, that's a small price to pay to not have to rely on 2k's servers keeping my MyCareer save file safe.
My VC wasn't effected.Comment

I'm getting a very similar issue.
I saved a game after half time and when I try to load my 95 overall player it just crashes to xbox home screen. I am guessing this is because it is trying to load a game already in progress.
I don't have any issues loading up the other game modes.
How can I delete the file and re-sync it? I heard it will re-sync me to an earlier time? Perhaps when I was at a menu?Check out my gaming channel YouTube.com/OffTheBrinkTV for Tips, Tricks, Tutorials, Walkthroughs and Let's Play videos!Comment

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you gain back all of the skills you purchased for say, MyGM? I was seriously contemplating this method but would hate to lose out on my stuff. It's been a month since I did this, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't reinstall it. Just make sure you click the box that says install disc.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I only played the MyGM in the beginning to generate VC (simmed seasons with the Heat). Once I canceled the sync after doing the factory reset, all my games saves were gone (MyCareer and MyGM). I just play MyCareer now.
When you buy a skill in MyGM are they unlocked for all MyGM save files you create or do you have to purchase them each time? If it's the latter, you'll probably loose them.Comment
