Since you said you'll be doing myplayer, absolutely not.
Between ce-34878-0 errors, which force you to restart your player, and 2ks server issues which prevent you from playing, you shouldn't consider this game even at a discounted price.
If you only wanted to do quick games, it'd be worth it at about $30.

From what you're describing, I would say no. There are too many server dependent modes you would want to play and there are too many outages that render the mode useless.

If you're referencing doing this online, you seem to be in the minority of people (on this site) who can do this w/o lag, disconnecting, or not being able to connect at all.

Offline quick game works.

Lastly, for the most part, I don't think anyone is arguing that this game can play REALLY well, when it cooperates. For many users right now, getting it to play is the problem. I don't want to mislead this guy and have him end up in that minority. If he plans to play other titles that is another story. No use having a Lamborghini (or whatever car we want to, for the purpose of comparison, call the best car in history), if it's up on cinderblocks on the front lawn.
