And they all experience the same blank/default clothing error?

Basically, if you simply want to play a new career or GM for the next few days while we wait for something from 2k, follow my post and make a second profile so that you can have fresh saves and play temporarily.
I'll follow your steps I didn't want a temporary fix but seeing as this is the only option I'll go with this thanks

I think the only way to get a permanent fix is to wait for 2k. Seeing how they are saying as little as possible, giving to indication of time, and Ronnie practically ignores half of the tweets, I just wanted you to know your options. If 2k won't tell people alternatives, I will
Good luck man!

Have you tried starting up NBA (Signed in) and simply letting the intro video play completely? This apparently can fix several reported issues, possibly yours.

Update-
I searched for some posts and found this - similar to what I suggested - see if it works for you.

Update 2-
Here's the link for the thread where I got that post if the above does not work, maybe you can find something of use. Quoted post is on Page3. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-mycareer.html
Good luck!

I've actually had to do this method a few times now to fix my guy and you don't have to remove all accessories so ignore that step.
