Problem: No big men dunking under the rim?

Unless they've taken it out, Im sure it was under the tendency section.

This is a player tendency in the player edit menu. It is still in the game too. With the way 2K jacked up the roster editing process, I am not going to try to edit all standing dunk tendencies of each big man to find them not to work later on (another larger issue by itself).

I have yet to find a slider combination that helps with this issue. It's pretty baffling. I'm not expecting to see an all out assault on the rim by all bigs underneath, but this "all layups, all the time" nonsense is annoying. Sure, there are other bigger issues in the game that need to be addressed, but I'd like to see this one figured out.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Go into the options menu and adjust the dunking sliders, it's simple and easy and it works!

Thanks for the advice, but I have already stated that in both my first and second post. I have tweaked/maxed out dunk sliders. Maybe I am missing something else (contact frequency, strength, gather, etc).

What settings/sliders are you using? If you got a few minutes, drop them in here. If what you are using works, I would be glad to use what you have.

Just looking to maximize the gaming experience.

i put dunk tendecy on 100 with slider, still 0 dunk attempts by my bigs at the rim if they werent running .....so i said lets try dunk in traffic frequency....put it on 70 and the next play i have my SG dunking on 3 people so i instantly turned that back to 50....may be the one i need but its not worth every rim shot becoming a poster

I had the same problem, until I used the slider for dunking and set it to 90. I get more dunks now, but still not as many as I should

The Problem is 2K tried to make it more realistic and the consumers wanted arcade. Simple as that. You want to stand dunk everytime you're under the rim....2k wants you to be aware that if you dont have that tendency and there's a defender in the paint with you, the likely hood of you dunking on him is slim to none...this also allows for the defense to get in position to block your shot. Imagine if you could stand dunk every time you got your player into position, then the block system would be broken...and you all would complain.
