Posting up is pointless - leads to turnover almost immediately

I think I know what you are doing wrong. If the computer tries to steal as you make a move, it has a high success rate. So if you just BACKDOWN->BACKDOWN->BACKDOWN, you'll lose the ball. If you immediately post into a move, you'll lose the ball. You need to time things. Put in some fakes. Hold position for a second til you see the defender move, then, while they are still moving, try your move and you'll have some success.

The key is patience. Don't just post up, then go frantic.

well im playing on superstar and i couldnt give a crap if anyone calls me clueless. my own personal experience is that as soon as i isolate a 1 on 1 and press triangle, within the next second the Cpu reaches in and strips the ball away. Im not going to bother to saving a bunch of clips and uploading them somewhere to prove a point, but im at the stage now where i know that it doesnt matter who i try to back down on or post up on, that a turnover will result.
