Managing Progressive Fatigue

Hey guys! New NBA 2K player here and I am really enjoying this game. I do have a question as far as progressive fatigue over the course of MY GM.

I am about 3/4 of the way through my season and have lost 6 of my last 8 games. I looked at my roster and although the team Chemistry is up, all of my starters are either "tired" or "exhausted". Does this make a difference on how they perform on the court?

If so, could you please provide some insight on the questions below...

1. How do you rotate rotations to have your bench players start and play more?
2. How many games do you need to rest players or "play sparingly" for them to become fresh again?
3. Any more tips?

Thanks!!

Re: Managing Progressive Fatigue

Who still uses progressive fatigue?!

Anyways, progressive fatigue does lower ratings a bit. You can either switch up your lineups or bench your starters, but its too bad that in either situation, they would demand a trade due to 2ks broken player logic.

I leave my lineup the same regardless, and sit my starters in blowouts. Usually a couple days off without games should make players fresh. It's the back to back games and the 5 games in 7 days that ruins your players.

When your players in MyGM play a certain amount of minutes or travel too much, they feel it when they get home (or to their hotel) to put it simply. The more minutes, the more fatigue. When they play 2 games in a row, it causes them to be more sluggish on the court on the second game, and its worst in weeks with 4 or more games. The more rest the better they will perform.

Re: Managing Progressive Fatigue

I use progressive fatigue!

A couple things I do, if I'm playing back to back games, I manage minutes better for the 1st game. For the 2nd game I use the bench alot more. Plus, there's a distinction in GM abilities that enable for your players to be less tired due to better training/working with the trainer.

I hope that helps.
