Icon2 In your opinion, best position to use in my career?

So as I wait for 2k to fix my champs store and update rosters, I've decided to start a new my career. I was a point guard in my first career, but am open to picking a new position.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback as it pertains to what position you like. If possible, list some pros and cons.

Thanks guys.

I did a tall SF ... 6'8" or 6'9" I think. And I'm very happy with it. Gives you some versatility to cover other teams 2,3 & 4. Also tall enough for rebounds and for getting shots off. You can play inside or outside depending on matchup and team needs.

I play sf. But pg is the only option if you want any kind of offense running.

PG is the only option. Every other position is ruined because the team doesn't run any plays. I hate that I made a point forward and have to ask for the ball from the PG after every inbound just so I can run some plays. What a joke.

Center. I'm midway through my rookie season and I'm on pace to win ROY, DPOY, MVP and the scoring title. I'm leading the league in blocks by a large margin and I have a higher PER than Wilt Chamberlain. I've been averaging around 60 PPG in the last 5 or so games as well. The first few games are rough because of how it's scripted but eventually you get to dominate the games. There are times when your teammates do stupid things like take shots but the offense will eventually become catered to you.

I love playing the 4 and the 5. I havent had any issues with my teams running plays, they do so fine. If you play well the team will feed the post alot and give you plenty opportunities to score. Instead of playing like the second coming of Wilt, which is easy to do as a big, I like to try to draw double teams in the post and kick the ball out for threes or to my buddy in the post. Just dont go taller than 6'11" as your player ceases to jump at 7 or higher.

IMO, really depends on what you do. Try PG if you want to carry the ball and create plays. SG/SF depending on style either slasher/3 pt/def, for me either of these 2 I really like, you could demand for the ball and carry it, or just shoot or dunk. I havent tried PF or C coz in real life Im not a post-up player. And according to some OS posting in myC thread, C is tough specially if you create 7 or taller.

I might create a C at 6"11 with defensive prowess and decent post up and medium range.
