Online players do this to break up plays...it is extremely cheesy and glitchy.

I like to switch defenses alot though out the game, but doing in the middle of a possession is a glitch.

It is sad I seen guys on youtube saying this is a legit strategy if they know someone is running Horns plays to kill their 1-3-1.

Depends. Sometimes I'm really indecisive lol. I'm just saying to limit it is stupid but to impede it would be a better idea. If they're are people exploiting the game in that way then just put a delay to the reaction of the defense or something. I mean you just may never know. Maybe beginning of possession you want a 2-3 then decide you wanna do man to man then think you wanna do 1-3-1 cause they're shooting the lights out. Has happened a few times to me.

All in the same possesion? That's far from realistic... In any case IMO the worst thing are the plays breaking.

There are a lot of things far from realistic in the game. Yeah in one possession. Not saying every single possession but it happens here and there. You're right though the breaking plays are annoying and a reason I don't really run them

Personally, I see it as a way to better direct where you want your A.I. players to move on the court based on how your opponent is attacking you. I don't usually switch defenses from whatever I initially set up in the pre-game, but when I do it tends to be against players who are getting whatever shot they want on me because no matter what base defense I try the guys I'm not controlling are always slipping out of position. Picking a zone or trap defense helps me better predict where those players will go from second to second.
