Jumpshots timing in the park

I'm having issues with my jumpshots timing in the park. First, it doesn't seem like my jumpshot is the same as when I play games with my team outside of the park. Second, I've tried releasing earlier, later, and nothing seems to work! Has anyone encountered this problem?

I thought I was the only one. My jumpshot timing is much slower in game, than the park.

I always see opponents draining 3s with perfect rhythm. Even in open jumpers I miss, and I'm rated 96 overall from 3.

I thought it might be an online delay thing.. But everything else seems to work except the jump shot release

I can't tell if I'm releasing too soon or too late. It is a different jumpshot!

I've been having troubles also. I was able to hit consistently for a while, but the last week has been terrible. I've tried 5 different jump shots, tried releasing earlier, later, no dice. For some reason I have lost all reference to determining if I'm releasing late or early.

Get your shot down in MyCareer games first to where you are comfortable stopping and popping from anywhere. At first you learn the release by watching the hands but eventually it will all be by feel.

And in the Park like in a game you can be wide open, have a perfect release and still miss.

I'm lights out in MyCareer on any difficulty. The Park's timing is very different and seems to be inconsistent for me.

Re: Jumpshots timing in the park

I think an early release hits the back and side of the hoop/backboard and a late one hits the front of the rim. Maybe try that as a reference

You hold the shot button down the same amount of time once you go into your shooting motion. Sounds like bad luck, just stick with what feels normal.
