So game won't load after all NBA Team screen

So been playing MyCareer and started having a problem where the crowd noise is messed up now that I'm in the playoffs. Crowd doesn't cheer or boo. Just one steady constant, non fluctuating tone. Then last couple of days, the game would get hung up at the black screen right after you first put the disc in right after it shows all the nba team logos. I'd let it sit and eventually it would load after 5 minutes or so. Well now it won't load past that period. Let it sit a full 10 minutes and got nothing. Wasn't this supposed to be in one of the patches?? I'm so sit of this game not being able to simple function as expected. I paid my money. I didn't short change 2k on the cost. Why did I get short changed on the product?
