Why oh why 2K?

Why does this stupid game still not know what a foul is. The game does a horrible job and determining what's a foul and what isn't.

There is still no foul called when a shooter gets knocked down, when in reality it's called over 95% of the time.

There is no foul called anymore when the defender jumps and falls on top of the ball handler/shooter.

No blocking fouls called on over aggressive defenders.

No blocking fouls called on players trying to deny you crossing half court.

No fouls called on constant double teams.

More successful steals than fouls called on reaching in.

Too many bad fouls called on drives.

Too many bad fouls called on players with hands up.

More charges called than blocking fouls on player abusing the charge button.

There is no balance or logic to the way fouls are called and i'm just so sick of how casual this game has become since the first patch.

Honestly and people may get mad but the whole things needs to be scrapped. The fouls are horrible, another frustrating thing is the minutes breakdowns and why they sub out the whole squad in the first quarter, I love 2k but it's a very complex and frustrating process to play this game, there's always something going on.

When you pump fake and create contact that should be a shooting foul. I am not a big fan of being able to get someone off their feet only to be completely blocked from driving by the man in the air.

Yes that defies logic, I've seen that numerous times and every time I'm left shaking my head like really lol.

The fouls are rare and there is a lot of contact without a foul being called.

I have all the fouls at 100 and I occasionally see a bumping contact foul. Fouls in this game is tied into a lot of animations.
I also see players standing straight up with their hands up and a foul is called even if there is no contact.

This is for offline and online it's even worse because there are no sliders.

Yes and how about the baseline foul lol I'm preventing him from driving baseline and I'm playing perfect defense and I'm called for the foul lol.

Honestly I think they are here to stay and we have to get use to it, how many times have people complained about madden but year in and year out it's the same issues, 2k hasn't improved. Same issues on next generation consoles.

The only thing I hate about the foul calls is the animations. Players get hit in midair with tons of contact but it's not a foul. Then they'll just stand there with your hands up with very little contact and that's a foul. It honestly isn't a big deal to me because I think theres a good amount of foul calls but the animations are just annoying. And I am not experiencing more rips than reaching fouls but I don't ever play online so idk how it is with all these people that just spam square.

It's all 2k attempting to dumb the game down for casual players. This BS allows them to stay in games. Reach-ins are also extremely ridiculous. The reward for spamming steal is either a 3 hour animation for where the offensive player stumbles or a steal. Even when fouls get called they don't matter because no-one is going to foul out/enter penalty in 6 min quarters

Yeah man that stumbling animation is terrible and can't do anything until it finishes and you don't get a foul called ever. 2K sure can add more and more dunks though.

A few other problems on the foul front are that there are times you are in the bonus but don't go to the line and I don't think that the clear path foul works correctly. It seems to only trigger a clear path foul if the guy is actually shooting if I remember right.

I'd like an easier way to intentionally foul as well.
