Unrealistic FG%

Does anyone else have an issue with the CPU shooting field-goal percentage between 65 and 80% every single game? I'm playing on pro difficulty with default sliders. If anyone has some more realistic sliders to point me to would appreciate it.

I would change to simulation sliders. You just need more work to improve defensively. Do that and the percentages will come down.

Without seeing you play it's hard to be specific on where you can improve.

. . .yeah, orr you could just lower the shooting sliders. Defense can help some, but I know the shooting percentages in this game in general are known to get pretty high already(good defense or no). I'm shooting 54 percent from the field with ray allen and 53% from 3 with him(which is just ridiculous), and this is with lowered shooting sliders, before it was even worse. It's more than just defense.

I have this happen because of points in the paint. No matter what I try, I cannot stop points in the paint. I've read every piece of advice on playing on ball defense, but it never fails.

I've had sliders as low as 38 for inside shot, contact shot. It's just insane if left to default.

Im going to be doing a playthrough on myGM mode with some sliders i got for a more realistic game. Check my blog/dynasty for stats and everything from every game it will give you an idea on how well these work.

It gets tough when the CPU opponent just starts spamming dribble moves with the ballhandler late in the shot clock. Eventually, he is going to get by his defender and either get a layup or foul.
