Yes, there is. When you first start, you get to edit options as far as season length and the different playoff series formats.

You can't shorten the seasons in MyGM, it's 82 games only. You can shorten Season Mode though... in the first options menu you get when starting a season

I think this will be added back. I'm giving 2k a pass this year because new game, new system but if this time next year and were still talking same issues then I will be moving on and investing my time in something else.

So you haven't played this game in over a month because the amount of games don't come in increments you like? Or just everything in general?

Correct.
I may play a quick game here and there but my bread and butter are those 2 modes. I also am not a fan of online play as I get quite bad latency over here (Australian trying to play on U.S servers- you're bound to get a 1-2 second delay).
