Player Upgrades Section Missing?

I've only had this since Monday, so forgive me if I'm missing something obvious. I remember in my first myCareer, there was a 'Player Upgrades' section where you could boost attributes by +10 for a short set of games.

Server issues erased my VC, so I decided to make an offline career. Ever since then, that upgrades section is gone. Is it something that unlocks after a certain point or what?

I'm asking this because the upgrade menus lag when switching to where I think it should be.

It goes Attribute Upgrades>Signature Skills>Personality Badges>Animations Upgrades>Park Upgrades>(LAG)Signature Styles>Arena Sounds.

If you're doing OFFLINE MyCareer it will be skill points you receive not VC

I started a second career when it couldn't connect to the servers, so I just assumed it was offline.

Anyway, that's not the issue. Training boosts are still missing in my offline career.

If you're doing OFFLINE MyCareer it will be skill points you receive not VC

Where the hell did I say anything in my post about offline VC? And why are my VC totals different between my two myCareer players? One shows a coin next to it and is at 1167(online). The other shows just VC 802 with no coin.

It is an OFFLINE MyCareer now so there you are not earning VC anymore which is why the totals are different. It might still say VC but there is no coin next to it like you said, those are SKILL POINTS.

Also, this is probably why you don't have the attribute boost screen

On PS4/XBox One (contrary to popular belief, I did not post this to the next gen forums instead of the normal forums simply for my own amusement), 2k14 identifies all earned XP as VC, whether online or offline. Only PS3/X360 shows SP.

Back to the question... Surely 2k didn't limit something as useful as the training boosts to online-only...

I have used them only once before and don't really need them, but it just bothers me that I don't even have the option right now.

I know the difference between the offline xp and the online currency and I never brought that up in my question. My mentioned loss of vc was when I was kicked out of mycareer because of server issues and lost 1000+ actual VC (wouldn't let me upgrade skills for several games but I thought it'd eventually work), which prompted me to make an offline mycareer that wouldn't rely on the servers.

As for the Offline status being the cause, I didn't think a game would limit an upgrade option to online-only careers.

You see now, when you play offline you earn skill points not VC.
