Why can't my player dunk?

Why can't my player dunk in My Career? I'm a 6'11" PF with an 80 vertical, 80 standing layup and 80 dunk rating. My player has not dunked ONCE in 15 games, even when wide open. Dunk packages are equipped. What the hell is going on and how to I get my player to dunk.

What's your emotion at? Mine seemed to dunk more when I increased it.

When you're running at the rim, hold the shoot button beginning a step or two farther away to initiate a dunk. You might get some stupid spot ups, but you'll get used to the timing in a game or so.

I FINALLY dunked off a post spin to a wide open basket. I'll definitely raise my emotion and see if that helps though: I want to be dunking more than once every 15 games or so.

For my Athletic PF, my dunk was around 7x and standing dunk 8x and the guy just keep doing layups!

So i just maxed out my standing dunk to 90 to buy the sprinte posterizer sig skill, and BAM! He start dunking! Just rmb that people need two step from the hoop to charge for the dunk. The RS holding time is not important, but u NEED to ensure the LS is the direction to the hoop!

Now with 86 dunk, I can do at least 10 dunks a game (season high 20!)
Almost a guarantee of extra 200vc for Highlight play bonus! (X2 with HOF)

Now we are two weeks from playoff and my dunk tendency is around 2x already.

I used to have this same problem. I don't know what fixed it, but I have Finisher and posterizer skill, and Dunk maxed out. BTW my layup is also maxed out. Now my dunk rate is over 95% when open. I also have a sprinkle of contact dunks here and there.

Don't under estimate any of the athletic parameters like speed and vertical as a great dunker is a very athletic player.
