Anybody getting random disconnects for online ranked games ?

I started playing 2k14 again this past week after not playing it for a couple of months. Their has been lag in pretty much all of the VS and Team-up games that I've played. The lag seems to come and go in spirts. Some games it will lag you out in the 1st quarter and in others it will just keep lagging randomly throughout the entire game. It has happened at night and even in the morning when there was hardly anyone on.

I just don't understand why were still going through all of these issues after they supposedly re-wrote the online code back in 2k12. I have never played any other game online that has had this many issues before.

Sadly, it seems like they're simply unwilling for whatever reason to put in the necessary time and resources into their servers/online code to make sure they work properly for their customers.

This is ridiculous. It's bad enough that half of my favorite team is hurt therefore I'm trying to play with mostly backups. Couple that with not being able to get past the first quarter.... SMDH

This can't be a random situation. I'm still not able to get out of the first quarter of a game. This thread should be a sticky.

Take Two is a lying, money hungry company who has lost it's way and gotten greedy. Same servers, same ish. These server/disconnect issues should be a thing of past. Stop trying to fix areas of the game that helps you drain moe money out of consumers wallets and fix the core issues of the game, This has been the most disappointing game since 2K4 imo.

So... are they just not going to bother with this game now? No updates from them, and this has been going on for a few weeks now. Looks like they moved on to 2k15 and are probably figuring out more ways to incorporate vc instead of upgrading servers and flawed mechanics. I'm done with this game
