How to keep 2k fresh?

What are you guys doing to keep 2k fresh? With the real NBA coming to an end, how do keep the game from not going stale?

i like to use mygm to play mycareer now, and try to player-lock shut down the other teams best scorer while keeping my stats realistic...but still only get 2-4 games a day max before i cant stand 2k

Once the season is done, I'll either use Rashidi roster and customize each players accessories and shoes and play games or I'll just use the last roster update and do the same to that roster.

Why would the game get stale just because the season is over? That makes no sense...Basketball Never Stops.

Try different camera angles. I use drive cam: zoom 1, height 10.

Change your presentation settings. My settings are:

Commentary - 95
PA - 100
Sound effects - 100
Crowd - 70
Player chatter - 50

Use all the teams (current, legend, euroleague).

Play a season with all legend teams.

Do what I did...go buy Live 14 used, play it exclusively for a week, then return it.

I'm in day 3 of this Al already about to take it back to GameStop.

Makes you see all the things 2k does right.

I've been burned out on the core gameplay since last year . What I do is try different modes for a while . Also try different teams and players .

I play a game a day when I can. It's really different for me. Some days, I am able to get online and play park for awhile with friends, but when I play my vs computer myplayer game, I am only half thinking about it. Just using it to clear my mind.

I got 3 my players. A PG, a C, a SF, and I enjoy using them. I could see if you didn't like that mode, though. It's obviously pretty stupid the way each team shoots 70% on HoF, but it's still fun to me. It's still hard, when the computer decides it wants to win and my teammates decide they don't want to give me post ups on my SF.
