It's absurd that I have to wait around 30 mins to even find an open spot when I play with a friend. What's next? Will it cost VC to even play a game? Bring back mp pick up or crew because this mode is absolutely trash.

I'm not even going to talk about how bad the gameplay is.

They better take this out or improve it drastically because they'll definitely lose 1 longtime customer if they don't.

Pick Up games and Crew were way better than Parks and blacktop.

They have 2 option. Either scrap Parks and bring back Pick Up or Crew or turn parks into one Pickup. The only way they could improve it is to turn it into Pick up games and make it to where you could search with your friends to find a game.

The whole idea of placing upto 100 people all together on a bunch of blacktop courts were your supposed to all run around like chickens with their heads cut off and then find your friends and then find open spots and courts to play on and then wait forever for games to end was just a silly idea. Then on top of it you have all the freezing and lag issues since there are too many people all trying to play together.

I agree if they care at all about what their customers want as opposed to creating modes solely out of greed to try to make more money off from microtransactions from the casual basketball fans, then 2k10/11 myplayer pick up and a NBA crew mode needs to return which is what long time fans of the series has been asking for years now. This whole playing dress up and playing on blacktop with gameplay that resembles NBA jams just isn't cutting it for a game that used to pride themselves on Simulation.

Plus after you wait that hour and a half looking for a court, the servers are too dead to even play a game and then the court lags and doesnt start the game. then you rinse and repeat.

I just wish it was like the NHL series' EASHL with drop in games where you play a real game in an actual arena, with actual jerseys, against other peoples created players online.

Agreed. EASHL is exactly the design 2k should use to reintroduce crew mode and myplayer pickup games. The best part about it is that you HAVE to play games to improve your myplayer, and not just a few but many many games. And it's all online so it's more enjoyable than player against the computer. You can't drop down $40-50 to get a 99 overall. And by having to play games, more people are less likely to quit said games. Perfect setup.

I disagree with the set up being bad. The bad part is how often **** glitches out or games don't start. It's bad that people can get out of a game in 5s, walk all of the way around the court, and steal a got next spot before the next team goes in.

Waiting makes the games realer. I would like to see a lobby to look for open parks. I would like to see larger bonuses for win streaks.

But you're right... the game play is often terrible because people are terrible. The game is on such a low difficulty that people get bailed out way too much. Dudes don't pass. People quit less though because of the wait, which is good.

I wanna see the ability to use your my player in nba style games where you can set the rules. Would be cool to not only have park but like "the gym." Except it'd be more sim rules.

2k needs to step up on some ****. It needs to keep stats better. What is this 30 8 and 8 that it says I am averaging while park loads? I want to be able to see all of my stats. I want stat leaderboards. "Teams" cuz everyone already made their teams by creating dudes that look alike.

It can go deeper, but I think the idea of park is a great step in the right direction... would be nice to be able to lock in for a game, though. I don't mind locking in and going to do something else until the game starts, but waiting to watch other people come in with turbo controllers and get their spot back is annoying.

2K confirmed Park long time ago lol, I hate it too.. who wants to wait 30 mins to play a game mode? That is one of the stupidest ideas ever. Hopefully they let us have lobbies for 2K15

I like the park idea but it does need a lot of revamping. I love the realism of it in the sense that you have to wait to play the winner just like you do when you play at the local park. I do wish there was something to limit the "leeches" that come & steal your Got Next spot after you were clearly waiting behind the Got Next group. How hard would it be to simply make more than one row of Got Next spots? Just adding an additional row would eliminate a lot of those issues. Courts do glitch far too often & leave them unplayable for way too long. Get rid of the 5v5 court because the court is way too small for that & not many people use it any way...4v4 may be a possibility but if you keep 5v5 make the court more proportional. Lobbies to choose between parks is a MUST!!! Enough of this 75 people in one park fighting over 32 spots - yes 32 because hardly anyone tries to play 5v5 anymore.

Well most people don't have the time to wait that long for a game.. If you enjoy waiting in line you should go to the local park just like you mentioned.

Not trying to be a ******* but IRL (2k prides (realistic as possible) it self on sim) you easily have to wait 30 mins to get next in a packed open gym
