Yep looks like I will be spending this year revisiting the ultimate base rosters for nba 2k12 or 2k14 now that it is released. I would rather play with the classic players/teams anyways in most cases.

It's funny all you see are these guys on twitter and what not asking for locker codes diamond this and diamond that and retweets about players scoring 150+ plus! This is the market I guess their looking to cater for and if you not on board then get left behind I guess....

You know what's crazy about that. I actually played and enjoyed mycareer more way back in 2k10 than I do now. As barren as the mode was then, I liked that you had to do the draft combine and summer league, and could fall out of the NBA to the D-League and have to work your way back up. You had the choice to be a star, role player, or journeyman. It's like they took out all the things that made me like it and didn't add small things I thought would make it what it needed to be(changing jerseys before games, sim games, award ceremonies for MVP's like Live used to). Everything is damn near already done for you and you have to become this unbelievable superstar in one season, even to the point of 2k scripting games.

MyPlayer focus?



Call me when they show that they can make player movement/physics halfway realistic. I refuse to play a game where taking one step backwards is impossible and every forward motion requires a player to load up his body to run.

The adverse effects the piss poor physics system has on this game makes it unplayable for me. From passing, to a players first step/explosiveness, to the congestion of the half court, to fast breaks and the list go on and on. They all suffer when everyone on the court has the speed and agility of Roy Hibbert.

I'll pass for the 3rd straight year.
