So here are my drills I would like to see in training camp mode in future NBA 2k's(2k16).
1. dribble handoffs- this drill will allow you to get the timing you need to execute those handoffs
2.pick and roll drillsl- you'll have to read the hedge and take the proper angle to seal the on ball defender on the screen, and finish the drill with a shot or drive depending on if he went under or over. Also you can throw a defensive pick and roll drill in there too.
3. Fastbreak drills- place the user in different situations example 2 on 1 or 3 on 2, teach them how to read the fastbreak defense, stop at the free throw line pop a j or pass it to one of the wing players.
4. Boxing out- teach the user how to get position and use the box out moves such as the spin to get the offensive or defensive board.
5. On ball defense drill- this drill should allow you to select a defender and a ball handler to defend, see how many stops you can get, also teach proper situations to shade and proper spacing on a ball handler.
6. Shot blocking- A simple drill, put the user in different angles to block the shot so he can improve his timing. If he is weak at one angle give the user a option to do those angles only.
These six are the man ones I can think of at the moment, I'll update this if I think of anything else. Bring back the dribbling and shooting mini game from 2k12. If you have drills ideas please post them, the whole purpose of this thread is to help users practice on areas they may be weak on.
I personally would like this mode because I'd like to just practice on one area and not have to go through a game or blacktop for it. This is just a personally opinion but I would also like to see training camp mode in a similar setting as live 09's being in a open practice facility you can roam around in. Wrote this pretty fast sorry for the grammar
