I decided to make a thread for MyLEAGUE in 2k15 so that everyone didn't have to post their plans in the interview one.

I'll start out with my team ... I plan on using the New Orleans Pelicans and winning multiple championships with them, modelling after the Spurs. Anthony Davis will be the next Tim Duncan.

There are so many possibilities for teams depending on what kind of person you are. If I want to win now, I'm choosing the Cavs. If I want my favorite team, I'm taking the Lakers. If I want a team on the rebuild, it's the Magic, Bucks, Wolves, ETC. Then again, I may control 2 teams at once if possible.

I plan on using Miami and trying to effectively navigate the "Post Lebron Era" and turn them into a title contender again

Well I'll be doing 30 team control so I can get rotations right etc. But the main team I'll use will be the Clippers like always. But I'm also planning on playing with the 76ers and the Bucks. Maybe the T'Wolves too now that they will have Wiggins.

I also plan on waiting for the best sliders and 2015 draft class to come out before starting as well.

I will play with my hometown Sixers. Hope to build through the draft for 1 more year and then go after a big time FA to complement the young stars (well hoping their young high draft picks will develop into stars.)

I think the TWolves are another great option now that they're getting Wiggins, but I didn't want to play as them cuz their court is super bright for some reason lol



Hard to tell here but you notice it in-game. Maybe it'll be different next year.

So excited about this mode, it's gonna be amazing. But I think I may use the Timberwolves and try to turn Zach Lavine and Andrew Wiggins into the next Westbrook/Durant type duo. Or I may do the sixers or magic, it's gonna be exciting this yr

My 2k14 rebuild job was the Suns and it worked pretty well, but I played on PC and people already have draft classes created up to 2016. I was thinking the T-Wolves, but I'll probably make a first save with the Wizards, then do the Suns again. Here's hoping 2k15 is mod friendly for the PC.

Ill be building up the Hawks, we haven't had a superstar in Atlanta since Dominique Wilkins, shame! Time to change that, first order of business is to get Joel Imbiid on the Hawks (hopefully for a strait up trade for Horford), then attempt to trade a couple players and draft picks for Wiggins or Jabari Parker, then in 2015 attempt to grab a pg hopefully Rondo, Rubio, or Kemba.
And for fun Ill start a separate MyLeague with the Cavs.

Im going to take my Celts, and i have alot of work to do lol. Not sure if I'll have all those #1 draft picks the C's have but ill figure it out eventually haha.

Definitely gonna play as my Sixers.

Gonna try and average a near triple double with MCW and a double double with Nerlens. Have Bennett be my leading scorer just because I believe he didn't have a fair chance in Cleveland.

I'll sit out Embiid till around February then bring him in at Center.

Going to use the lakers and work as rebuilding the lakers. Developing Randle and try to tank the first year lol.

For my second team (that sounds so awesome ) I want to lead the hawks to a dream season and surprise everyone by making the eastern conference finals .

The plan is to take the New Orleans Pelicans and their future superstar PF Anthony Davis to the Finals for many years and to win multiple championships. First, let's analyze the current roster:

Normal font means I'd like to have them, but I wouldn't mind if they had to leave.

(PG) JRUE HOLIDAY

Ideal Skills: all-around player, passing, leadership, defense, plays in control, isn't shoot first, at least solid shooter

Jrue's Skills: scoring, passing, defense, all-around

Conclusion: Probable PG of the future- I've never really played much with Jrue Holiday, nor have I really seen him play much in real life, but from what I have seen, he's all-around a pretty good point guard. He'll probably be the guy I'll be watching all season long to see if he's worthy of being the starting PG on a championship team.


(SG) ERIC GORDON

Ideal Skills: shooting, shot creating, secondary ball handling, passing, solid defense

Eric's Skills: shooting, scoring

Conclusion: On the Trading Block - Eric Gordon's skill set actually fits in nicely with the team but he's way too inconsistent, too injury prone, and gets paid waaaaay too much. He's the first player I'm looking to trade, likely before any games are even played.


(SF) TYREKE EVANS

Ideal Skills: versatility, spot-up shooting, lockdown defense, athleticism

Tyreke's Skills: scoring, finishing, size

Conclusion: Likely to be dealt eventually - In my eyes, Tyreke Evans is a combo guard who is best suited for a sixth man role off the bench, where he can use his unique skillset. He's stuck at the SF position for now because, well, would you rather start Babbitt? I'd love for him to stay, but his contract says otherwise.


(PF) ANTHONY DAVIS

Ideal Skills: offensive versatility, size, mid-range shooting, solid defender & rebounder

AD's Skills: potential dominance, size, elite defender, athleticism, vastly improved offensively, rebounding, shooting

Conclusion: MVP & Franchise Player - Anthony Davis will be (if not already) one of the best players in the league. He brings everything I want in my PF, but he's also arguably the best shot blocker in the NBA. I'm going to sign him to a max contract as soon as it's available; an 100% lock to stay for the long-term.


(C) OMER ASIK

Ideal Skills: defensive anchor, rebounding, offensive boards, hustle points, finishing, athleticism

Omer's Skills: defense, rebounding, hustle points

Conclusion: Probable C of the future - Omer Asik is a great fit for my system and does everything I need my center to do. However, he isn't a supreme talent at the position. I'm looking to upgrade at the SG and SF spots first, but if there's a chance to upgrade at center, I'm looking into it. Omer Asik has an expiring 15m deal this season, so I'm going to try to re-sign him for a significantly cheaper deal.


BENCH PLAYERS

Ryan Anderson: He's the ideal stretch 4, but I feel like he gets paid a bit too much to just be a PF. I just don't think he can guard opposing 3s or bang inside with 5s. I'm probably going to trade him sometime.

Austin Rivers: He's gotten better since his horrific rookie year, but I'm not the biggest fan. He'll be gone as soon as I find a true backup PG.

Jimmer Fredette: The famous Jimmer; he's a 2-guard stuck in a PG's body. He doesn't make up for it with athleticism or length, and I've seen enough of him last year (being a Bulls fan) to know that he's just a shooter. Won't be here for long.

Patric Young: A rookie who I feel was disrespected by not being drafted. Not only do I think he should have been picked, but also I think he can carve out a career being a backup center and doing what he does best: making hustle plays and banging around inside. He's also really cheap; I want to keep him as long as possible.

Russ Smith: A college superstar; he's an exciting player who improved his PG skills last season, but I see him as way too inefficient still. Maybe a potential reserve guard down the line.
