What in the world made 2K think it was a good idea to put rosters on their servers? Pisses me off. I'm not an online gamer when it comes to sports games, so why should I have to keep downloading my roster off their servers?

I'm not an online gamer at all - I don't even have PS Plus... and yet somehow MyCareer is magically unavailable when 2k servers run out of hamsters to run their servers

Starting up the game first time for a long time and the game is in a glorified demo mode because their servers are down again..

This was the most moronically designed game in history. Pretty much the whole game relies on servers that hardly work.

I believe the game is still storing your save on their servers, if you start the game while connected to the internet; if I'm not mistaken, this is independent of PSN+. And yes, it's still silly.

The mention of PS+ was to give an idea of how much I played online (ie. none).
